Janelle Fournair

Janelle completed a Bachelor of Speech and Language Pathology with Honours from Curtin University and has experience working in both private and community settings.

Her special interests include early language development, school-aged language, speech sound disorders, multimodal communication, and supporting neurodivergent children through evidence-based and individualised therapy.

Janelle is trained in Supporting Gestalt Language Development using Natural Language Acquisition and embraces child-led, play-based approaches that make therapy fun, engaging, and tailored to each child’s unique strengths and needs. She is passionate about empowering children to build confidence and self-advocacy skills throughout their communication journey. Janelle values collaboration with families and other professionals to ensure therapy is meaningful, functional, and seamlessly integrated into all aspects of daily life.

Outside of work, Janelle enjoys exploring her creative side, practicing Pilates, and spending quality time with her family and puppy.
